When is it really time to replace my windows?
If you feel draughts, the frames “sweat” (condensation), you hear too much street noise or your energy bills are very high, your windows have reached the end of their useful life. As a rule, a system more than 15–20 years old no longer meets current insulation standards.
Why does Proftex recommend PVC over aluminium?
PVC is a natural insulator, while aluminium is a conductive metal. For aluminium to insulate well it has to “break” its conductivity with additional components, which makes it more expensive and less efficient. With our PVC windows you get the maximum energy saving at the best price.
